Meet the Keller Yoga Lead Instructors

Steffanie Brown is a RYT 500 yoga instructor who graduated from Keller Yoga's 200hr and 300hr ProjectYOU teacher trainings and has been teaching yoga regularly for 5 years . She has a passion for leading people to become more grounded in their personal practice and more embodied in their lives. Steffanie is an intuitive teacher and has an incredible knowledge of the body as she has also been a massage therapist for 15 years. Her classes are centering, grounded and full of sincerity and lightheartedness.

Cecilia received her 200 and 300-hour teaching training at Keller Yoga. She has been practicing yoga since college when she first discovered yoga as a powerful tool to keep her body healthy. After finding the mental and spiritual benefits of practicing yoga, she was inspired to begin teaching others in order to share the profound mind and body healing yoga offers. She has been teaching yoga for five years. She teaches vinyasa and works to bring humor and fun to her classes.

Shanti Nolen RYT 500, LMT 1000 has been a massage therapist for 14 years and yoga practitioner for 16 years. She specializes in hatha yoga, meditation & philosophy, and yoga as a healing art. She loves making yoga practical to everyday living, teaching the more in depth understanding of the practice.

Josh Peeples, a 500 hour RYT, has been practicing yoga for the last 7 years and teaching for the last 2 years. They receive both their 200 hour and 300 hour teacher training from Keller Yoga. Josh specializes in Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Meditation, and Breath Work. Yoga has become a form of therapy both mentally, physically, and spiritually for them and they hope to share this knowledge with anyone curious about healing and finding their true authentic selves. Josh believes that every body can benefit from yoga and hopes to continue to move in the direction of using Yoga as a tool to find mental, physical, and spiritual balance in this life.

STEPHANIE READ, RPYT, E-RYT, 500, CD(DONA), SpBPE, and Ayurvedic Doula B.A., University of Oklahoma Stephanie began to study the healing and therapeutic aspects of yoga in 1998. She became a Register Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in 2009. Two years later she studied extensively in pregnant anatomy, physiology, labor and birth and became a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher and DONA certified birth doula. Her prenatal yoga classes focus on the importance of breath and deep relaxation, along with movements that align and balance the body for labor and birth. Through her prenatal classes a sense of confidence, companionship and community emerges.

Amanda is a RYT 200, trained at Keller Yoga. She hails from the gym world and delights in the healing aspects and simplicity of breath and movement through the practice of yoga. She finds the non-competitive atmosphere of Keller Yoga a relief and enjoys helping people get out of pain through stretching. Amanda also delights at teaching mindfulness meditation techniques for the beginner to the more advanced meditator. Come as you are and you will be amazed at what breath techniques can add to your practice.

Lindsay is a RYT 200, trained at Keller Yoga. Her yoga journey began 3 years ago, having spent 17 years in corporate environments she was looking for a way to move her body and reduce the stress. Lindsay quickly discovered that her yoga mat was a place to find joy, connection, peace and have a little fun, inspiring her to share yoga with others. Now Lindsay strives to create classes that are playful and challenging, giving people an opportunity to explore what’s possible without fear of judgement and maybe have a few laughs in the process.
